GATE 2027 Notification: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has officially released the GATE 2027 Notification on 20 July 2026 for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. This national-level examination is held for 30 diverse test papers, providing a gateway for admission to postgraduate programs and recruitment in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The GATE 2027 Notification has been released on July 20, 2026. Interested candidates can begin submitting their online applications starting August 14, 2026, with the final deadline to apply set for September 21, 2026. The GATE 2027 exam will be conducted on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, & 21, 2027.

GATE 2027 is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) designed to evaluate a candidate’s comprehensive understanding of various subjects in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, and Arts. As the organizing institute, IIT Madras has introduced a new test paper on Robotics & Automation (RA) and revised the syllabus for several papers.
