HSSC Haryana Driver Recruitment 2026: The Haryana Government has issued a notification regarding the Haryana Group-C Drivers (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2025. These rules have been framed by the Human Resources Department to introduce common and uniform service rules for all Group-C Driver posts across Haryana Government departments, including the Haryana Roadways. The rules will come into force from the date of their publication in the official gazette.

As per the notification, the state government intends to regulate recruitment, qualification, age limit, and selection criteria for drivers under one common framework. All administrative departments have been asked to submit their suggestions or observations before the final implementation of these rules.

These rules will apply to the appointment of Drivers in Haryana Government departments. The term Driver includes posts such as jeep driver, truck driver, staff car driver, road roller driver, heavy vehicle driver, and similar posts where a valid driving licence is required. Even posts named as operators will be treated as Driver posts if a heavy driving licence is mandatory. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has been defined as the recruiting agency.

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for HSSC Haryana Driver Recruitment 2026 is 18-42 Years. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.01.2026. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.
