Photo & Signature Resizer – Resize Image to Exact Size and KB

Get your photo or signature ready for any online form in under a minute. Upload your image, pick the size your form asks for, and this free tool resizes, crops and compresses it to the exact pixels and KB required. The result is checked for you, so your form isn’t rejected for a wrong photo size.

Everything happens inside your browser. Your photo is never uploaded to any server, so it’s fast, private and safe.

How to Resize Your Photo or Signature

  1. Upload your image. Tap Choose image, drag and drop the file, or paste it with Ctrl+V.
  2. Pick a ready-made size, or set your own. Choose Photo (200×230 px, 20–50 KB), Signature (140×60 px, 10–20 KB), Original, or Custom.
  3. Adjust the crop if needed. Drag the photo to position your face, use the zoom slider, or click Crop manually to choose the exact area.
  4. Check the result. The tool shows the final size in pixels and KB, with a green tick when it’s within your limit.
  5. Download. Click Download image to save it. On phones, you can also use Share / Save.

The ready-made sizes are used by many recruitment forms, such as bank exams. Always match the size given in your own notification, and change the numbers if yours is different.

Resize Image in KB (Target File Size)

Most online forms set a file size range, such as 20–50 KB for a photo or 10–20 KB for a signature. Instead of guessing with a quality slider, enter the minimum and maximum KB, and the tool automatically finds the best quality that fits.

If your file is still too large, reduce the width and height. If a small signature comes out below the minimum KB even at the best quality, which often happens with clean signatures, click Increase file to 10 KB. This adds empty data to the file so it meets the minimum, while the picture stays exactly the same.

Crop Photo Manually

Click ✂ Crop manually to open the crop box over your full photo. Drag the box to move it, drag the corners to change the size, or drag the edges to change only the width or only the height. The selected area is shown in pixels as you adjust.

You can crop in a free shape, as a square, or with Match final size. That option locks the box to the shape of your final photo, so nothing gets cut off again later.

Resize Photo in cm, mm or Inches

Some forms give the photo size in centimetres, such as 3.5 × 4.5 cm. Switch the unit from pixels to cm, mm or inches, and set the resolution in DPI. The tool converts it to pixels and also saves the DPI inside the JPG file.

Other Useful Features

  • Fit options: when your photo’s shape doesn’t match the required size, choose Crop to fill, Add white border or Stretch.
  • Rotate: fix sideways phone photos with one tap.
  • Black & white: for forms that ask for a black and white photo.
  • White background: transparent PNG signatures get a clean white background when saved as JPG.
  • Sharp results: large phone photos are reduced in steps, so small photos and signatures stay clear, not blurry.

Which Format Should I Use?

Use JPG for job and exam forms. It’s accepted almost everywhere, and it’s the only format the tool can compress to a KB target. PNG keeps full quality but can’t be compressed to a KB limit. WEBP gives small files, but most government forms don’t accept it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I resize a photo to 20–50 KB?

Upload your photo and select Photo. The tool sets 200×230 px and 20–50 KB automatically. If your form needs a different range, type it in the KB boxes.

How do I resize a signature to 10–20 KB?

Upload a clear photo or scan of your signature and select Signature. If the file comes out below 10 KB, click Increase file to 10 KB.

Can I resize an image without losing quality?

Yes. The tool always uses the highest quality that fits your KB limit and reduces size in steps to keep details sharp. Choosing a size close to your original keeps the most detail.

Can I choose which part of the photo to keep?

Yes. Use Crop manually to select any area, or drag the photo in the preview to reposition your face when using an exact size.

Is my photo safe?

Yes. All processing happens in your browser. Your image is never uploaded, stored, or shared.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. It works on Android and iPhone browsers. You can crop with your finger and save the result with the Download or Share button.
