Rajasthan Police SI 2021 Re-Exam 2026 Notification and Apply Reopen: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer, has released an important press note regarding the Sub Inspector Police / Platoon Commander Recruitment Examination 2021. As per the notice issued on 08 May 2026, the previously conducted recruitment process for SI / Platoon Commander posts has been completely cancelled, and the examination will now be conducted again.

The candidates who appeared in the previous recruitment exam are eligible to apply again from 16 May to 30 May 2026 for this recruitment. Even though this is not a complete application process, the eligible 383097 candidates have to update some information and finally submit the application form to become eligible to take part in this recruitment.

Vacancy Details and Qualification

Age Limit: The age limit for the Rajasthan Police SI Vacancy 2021 is 20-25 Years. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.01.2022.

Previous Recruitment Process Cancelled

According to the official press note, the Rajasthan Government recommended the cancellation of the earlier recruitment process. Following this recommendation, the Commission decided to completely cancel the recruitment process conducted earlier in 2021 for SI Police / Platoon Commander posts and conduct the examination again.

Who Can Appear in the Re-Exam?

Only those candidates will be allowed to appear in the re-examination who had appeared in both question papers of the written examination conducted earlier for these posts. The notice clearly mentions that a total of 3,83,097 candidates are eligible for the re-exam process.

Recruitment Will Be Conducted Under Old Conditions

The Commission has clarified that the recruitment examination will be conducted strictly according to the conditions mentioned in the original advertisement dated 03 February 2021. Eligibility of candidates, including age, reservation, educational qualification, and other details, will be considered on the basis of their status at that time only. No changes in these entries will be accepted.

Details Allowed for Correction

Candidates can update only the following entries in their application form:

• Mobile Number
• Email Address
• Correspondence Address
• Live Photo
• Thumb Impression
• Signature

No other corrections will be permitted.

Important Instructions Regarding KYC and OTR

Before making corrections, candidates must complete KYC in their OTR if not already completed. The notice also explains different procedures for candidates depending on whether their OTR KYC is complete, incomplete, or migrated to another SSO ID.

Mandatory Final Submission Process

The notice states that even if candidates do not wish to make any corrections, they must still open the application form in edit mode, complete the required declaration, and finally submit the form using OTP verification. Candidates who fail to complete this process will not be issued admit cards, and their applications will not be accepted.

• Only previously eligible candidates can appear
• No new applications have been invited
• Age, reservation, and qualification status will remain as per the old recruitment conditions
• Only limited fields can be updated
• Final submission with OTP verification is compulsory
• The admit card will not be issued if the update process is not completed
