CTET September 2026 Notification and Application Form: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the public notice for the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 examination. As per the official notice, the CTET September 2026 Exam will be conducted on 06 September 2026 for both Paper I and Paper II. The online application process will begin from 11 May 2026 through the official CTET website. The CTET September 2026 Notification has been released on 11 May 2026, and the online applications are invited from 11 May to 10 June 2026.
Candidates who want to become teachers for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8 in central government schools and other participating institutions can apply online within the prescribed dates. The examination will be conducted in 27 languages across 132 cities in India.

According to the official notice, if the number of candidates increases significantly, the examination may also be conducted on 05 September 2026.

CTET September 2026 Exam Pattern
The CTET examination will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark and there will be no negative marking.
