Aadhaar Verification Made Mandatory
CBSE has introduced Aadhaar verification for security purposes while accessing the portal. Students will be required to enter Aadhaar details during login. If a student does not have Aadhaar, the Aadhaar details of parents, guardians, or relatives may be used. In such cases, the Aadhaar name, date of birth, and gender must match the details of the person whose Aadhaar number is being used.
What Issues Can Be Verified?
Students can request verification if they notice any of the following issues in the scanned answer book:
- Missing pages
- Missing supplementary sheets
- Missing maps or graphs
- Blurred pages
- Wrong answer book provided
- Evaluation done using a different marking scheme or answer set
Students can select multiple issues and multiple subjects within a single application.
Re-evaluation Facility
Students who are not satisfied with the evaluation can apply for re-evaluation of one or more questions across one or more subjects. While submitting the application, candidates must provide required details such as question number and page number wherever applicable.
CBSE has advised students to carefully select all questions and subjects before final submission because details cannot be modified once payment is completed.
Important Instructions for Students
Students should note that only one application each is allowed for verification and re-evaluation. Once the “Freeze and Proceed to Payment” option is clicked, the submitted details will be locked and cannot be edited. Applications will be treated as successfully submitted only after successful payment. Students can later track the status of their application through the portal.
CBSE has also released a visual guide showing the complete process including login, subject selection, verification request, re-evaluation request, payment, and status tracking facilities.
