Delhi University (DU) Assistant Recruitment 2026: The University of Delhi (DU) has released Advertisement No. R&P/325/2026 dated 29 October 2026 for 215 additional Assistant posts (Non-Teaching, Pay Level 4). The posts are filled under Clause 6 (ix) (iii) of DU’s Recruitment Rules for non-teaching employees. The Delhi University (DU) Assistant Recruitment 2026 Notification has been released on 30 October 2026. Online applications can be submitted on du.ac.in until 19 November 2026, or within two weeks of the advertisement appearing in the Employment News, whichever is later.
You need a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of experience as a Junior Assistant or equivalent, and typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi. The upper age limit is 32 years. Selection has three stages: a Preliminary MCQ Test (for shortlisting only), a descriptive Main Examination, and a qualifying Skill Test. Candidates who applied under DU’s earlier Assistant advertisement R&P/311/2024 don’t have to pay the application fee again.
