BSF Result 2025: The Border Security Force (BSF) has officially released the Nominal Roll of Candidates Shortlisted for the 2nd Phase of Examination for various Group A, B, and C posts under different departments. These results are related to the vacancy year 2024 and have been published today, 15 July 2025, on the official BSF recruitment portal rectt.bsf.gov.in. The posts include Engineering Setup, SMT (Workshop), Air Wing, Veterinary Staff, and Inspector (Librarian).

The shortlisted candidates will now appear in the 2nd phase of selection, which is the written examination. The first stage of the selection process, i.e., PST/PET, was conducted at various centres from 17 March 2025 onwards, and in some cases, extended up to 01 April 2025.

As per the BSF Result notices:

1. Engineering Setup – A total of 975 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted. The vacancies included Group ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts with the initial advertisement released in March and May 2024, and the PST/PET conducted from 17 March 2025.

2. Veterinary Staff – A total of 488 candidates have been shortlisted for the next round. This includes HC/Veterinary (239) and Ct/Kennelman (249) posts. The initial notification was released in May 2024 and corrigendums followed in November and December 2024.

3. Air Wing – For the Group ‘A’ and ‘C’ posts under the Air Wing setup, 421 candidates have been shortlisted for the written test. Advertisements were published in March and May 2024, with the PET starting in March 2025.

4. Inspector (Librarian) – A total of 143 candidates have been selected for the 2nd phase. The initial advertisement was released in May 2024 with PET completed by April 2025.

5. SMT (Workshop) – The largest number of candidates shortlisted is under SMT Workshop posts, with 1573 candidates moving to the next round. This includes several trade-wise posts like Constable Carpenter, Fitter, Auto Electrician, Upholsterer, Vehicle Mechanic, etc.

The detailed roll numbers of shortlisted candidates have been uploaded post-wise on the official BSF recruitment portal, and candidates are advised to check their names in the respective lists.
