Gurugram Police SPO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be retired from the Indian Army, Central Armed Police Forces, HSIF Battalion, or Haryana Armed Police. Their age should be between 25 years and 50 years as of the date of application. The candidate must have completed at least 5 years of satisfactory service before retirement.

The candidate must also be physically and medically fit for the duties of SPO and must not have been removed from service on disciplinary or medical grounds.

Gurugram Police SPO Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection will be done through a direct application process. Eligible candidates can visit the Police Commissioner Office, Gurugram, between 10 November and 14 November 2025, with their application form, four passport-size photographs, education and service-related documents, and identity proof. The selection committee will verify all documents during the process.

No written or physical test will be conducted. Selection will be purely based on eligibility and document verification.

Gurugram Police SPO Recruitment 2025 Salary and Benefits

Selected SPOs will be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs. 20,000. During duty, they will be entitled to TA/DA of Rs. 150 per day for government tours and Rs. 120 per day for non-government tours. Each selected SPO will also receive two pairs of uniforms, one pair of shoes, and other required items worth Rs. 3,000 once after joining.

In addition, SPOs will get 20 days of casual leave annually as per the official norms.

After selection, the appointed SPOs will undergo 15 days of training at Police Lines, Gurugram, covering areas like law and order, patrolling, guard duty, and traffic management. After successful completion of training, they may be deployed anywhere within Haryana as per departmental requirements.
