HSSC CET Group C Exam Pattern 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the Haryana Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group-C exam on 26 and 27 July 2025 in four shifts. If you’re preparing for the Haryana CET Group C Exam 2025, it’s important to understand the latest exam pattern released by HSSC. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission, in coordination with the NTA, will conduct the HSSC CET Group C 2025 exam in offline (OMR-based) mode, and it will play a key role in selecting eligible candidates for various Group C posts across state government departments.

Revised HSSC CET Group C Exam Pattern 2025

The written exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark, making the total marks 100. The time duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers, but a special marking rule has been introduced for unattempted questions, which candidates must follow carefully.

Important Exam Instructions and Marking Scheme

  • Total Questions: 100
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Time Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
  • Mode of Exam: Offline (OMR Based)
  • Negative Marking: None for wrong answers
  • Languages: Bilingual (Hindi & English)
  • Minimum qualifying marks:
    • General Category : 50%
    • Reserved Category (both vertical and horizontal) : 40%

However, there is a mandatory fifth option on the OMR sheet for each question labeled as “Not Attempting the Question.” If a candidate chooses not to attempt a question, it is compulsory to fill this fifth option. If the question is left completely blank (i.e., none of the five circles are filled), then 1 mark will be deducted for each such unfilled question. Therefore, candidates are advised to either select one of the four answer options or mark the fifth circle if they choose to skip a question.
