JEE Main Result 2026: The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) has been officially declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination was conducted in Computer Based Test mode on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2026 in 13 languages across India and in 15 cities outside the country. A total of 13,55,293 candidates registered, out of which 13,04,653 candidates appeared, recording an impressive 96.26% attendance. The result announced is only for Paper 1, while the result of Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) will be released separately.
This year, 12 candidates secured a perfect 100 NTA Score (percentile) in Paper 1, representing states such as Delhi (NCT), Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Odisha, Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Telangana. In category-wise performance, Shresth Jasoria (Gen-EWS, Rajasthan) scored 99.9992442, Narendrababugari Mahith (OBC-NCL, Andhra Pradesh) secured 100, Deva Srivedh (SC, Andhra Pradesh) scored 99.9992271, Daksh Sehra (ST, Rajasthan) scored 99.9938620, and Arsh Jain (PwBD, Madhya Pradesh) achieved 99.9100843. Among female candidates, Ashi Grewal from Haryana emerged as the female topper with 99.9969766 NTA Score.
NTA has informed that the NTA Scores of 68 candidates have been withheld due to unfair means practices or identity verification discrepancies. The final ranks will be prepared after considering the best of the two NTA Scores of both sessions of JEE Main 2026, as per the prescribed policy. The agency also highlighted strengthened security measures including Aadhaar-based e-KYC authentication, biometric attendance, AI-based video analytics monitoring and large-scale deployment of coordinators, observers and flying squads to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the examination.
