MPPCB AE Recruitment 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board (MPPCB) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer/ AE (Environment) posts. This recruitment will be conducted through direct recruitment, and candidates must apply online via the MP Online portal. The Application fee for the MPPCB AE Recruitment 2026 is Rs. 100/-. The candidates can pay the application fee online through the MP Chayan Online Portal at chayan.mponline.gov.in.

Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification

Age Limit: The minimum age required is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories, women candidates, and government employees as per the Madhya Pradesh government rules. The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.

MPPCB AE Environment Recruitment 2026 Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process will consist of two stages. First, a Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted, which carries 80% weightage. After that, shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview, which carries 20% weightage. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks of both stages.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a ratio of 1:3 based on their performance in the CBT exam. The CBT exam will include questions from Environmental Engineering subjects such as water treatment, air pollution control, waste management, and environmental chemistry, along with general knowledge and basic computer knowledge.
