Naval Ship Repair Yard Kochi Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY), Kochi has released a notification for Apprenticeship Training in Designated Trades under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. This recruitment is for training positions at the Naval Ship Repair Yard (Kochi) and the Naval Aircraft Yard (Kochi). A total of 240 vacancies are available across multiple ITI trades.

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matric (10th) with a minimum 50% marks and must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade with at least 65% aggregate marks.
Age Limit: Candidates must be 18 years or above as on 01 June 2026. There is no upper age limit for apprenticeship training.
Reservation
Reservation will be applicable as per government rules:
- SC/ST reservation as per the Apprenticeship Act guidelines
- 3% reservation for PwD candidates

Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Merit prepared from SSC (10th) + ITI marks
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and medical examination
Final selection will depend on document verification and medical fitness.
