NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Date: NTA Opens City Change Window for Candidates

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important notice regarding the NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses in medical institutions across India. As per the notice, the re-examination will be conducted on 21 June 2026 (Sunday) in offline mode across various cities in India and abroad.

Candidates who want to change their present address or preferred examination city can update the details through the official NTA website from 15 May to 21 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). The notice clearly mentions that only the present address and city choice correction will be allowed during this period. No other correction in particulars will be accepted.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Overview

Exam Will Be Conducted in 13 Languages

According to the official notice, the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination will be conducted in 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Address and Exam City Update Facility

NTA has provided a one-time facility for candidates who wish to change their present address or preferred examination city because of a change in residence. Candidates can update their 1st and 2nd preferred examination cities through the online application window available on the official website.

The notice also mentions that candidates who do not use this facility will continue with their previously selected examination city. After the last date, no request for change will be entertained.
