NIFTEE Result 2026 Declared: Check Score Card of National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam

NIFTEE Result 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NIFTEE 2026 Stage 1 Result on 20 March 2026 for admission into various design and fashion technology programmes. The entrance exam was conducted on 08 February 2026 across 129 centers in 97 cities in India, in both Hindi and English mediums. Depending on the programme, the exam was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) or Paper Based Test (PBT) mode.

Candidates who appeared in the exam can now check their result and shortlisting status for Stage 2 through the official NTA NIFTEE portal.

NIFTEE Result 2026 Overview

As clearly mentioned in the official notice, the Stage 1 result has been declared for all programmes, but for Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech), the final result will be announced later since there is no Stage 2 exam for this course.

Stage 2 Shortlisting Process

Candidates have been shortlisted for Stage 2 based on their performance in Stage 1, following the approved category-wise seat matrix and NIFT criteria. The shortlisting ratio is 1:4 (one seat to four candidates), which means competition remains quite high at this stage.

For PwD candidates, an additional condition has been applied where they must secure at least 50% of the cut-off marks of their respective category to be eligible for shortlisting.

The result displays the status of each candidate based on the programme applied:

• B.Des: Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Situation Test
• M.Des, M.F.M, M.F.Tech: Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Personal Interview
• B.Des (NLEA): Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Studio Test & Interview
• B.F.Tech (NLEA): Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Technical Ability Test (TAT) & Interview

How to Check NIFTEE 2026 Result

Candidates can log in to the NIFTEE 2026 portal using their Application Number and Password to view and download their result.
