SSC CGL 2025 Final Result 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the Final Result of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2025. The result notice was released by SSC Headquarters on 14 May 2026. As per the official notification, a total of 15,118 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for different posts under various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

Candidates who were included in the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) were required to participate in the Sliding/Identity Verification process conducted in April 2026. SSC stated that candidates who remained absent during the sliding process were not considered in the final result.

SSC has released category-wise vacancy details for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Statistical Investigator Grade-II, and all other posts.

SSC also shared the details of candidates who selected FIX and FLOAT options during the sliding process.

According to SSC, all 15,118 vacancies have been filled provisionally through the final result process.

SSC CGL 2025 Important Highlights

• SSC informed that candidates were allotted posts on the basis of merit-cum-preference and FIX/FLOAT option selected during Sliding/Identity Verification.
• One HH vacancy was filled through vertical category due to non-availability of a suitable candidate.
• Result of 106 candidates has been kept withheld due to various reasons.
• SSC clarified that no reserve list or waiting list has been prepared.
• Final answer keys and detailed marks of selected and non-selected candidates will be uploaded later on SSC website.

Tie Resolution Criteria

SSC stated that tie cases in Tier-II Examination were resolved using the following order:

1. Marks in Paper-II of Tier-II for JSO/SI posts
2. Marks in Section-I of Paper-I of Tier-II
3. Date of Birth with older candidate placed higher
4. Alphabetical order of names

What Happens After SSC CGL Final Result 2025

SSC has informed that further document verification and appointment formalities will now be handled by the allocated departments. Candidates who do not receive any communication from their allocated department within six months should contact the concerned department directly.

The Commission also stated that fresh ranks have been allotted in the final result and these ranks will supersede the earlier FRTA ranks declared in April 2026.
