UPSSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2026: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a new recruitment notification for Excise Constable (Abkari Sipahi) Main Examination 2026 under advertisement number 08-Exam/2026. This recruitment is a great opportunity for candidates who have already qualified PET 2025, as only those candidates will be eligible for this main examination process. According to the official notice, a total of 722 vacancies have been announced for Excise Constable posts in Uttar Pradesh.

Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board or equivalent qualification.

Additionally, preference may be given to candidates who have:

• Served in the Territorial Army for at least 2 years OR
• NCC ‘B’ certificate

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.

• Male Candidates: 4.8 km run in 25 minutes
• Female Candidates: 2.4 km run in 14 minutes

The written exam will be objective type with:

• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Time Duration: 2 Hours
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
