UPESSC UP PGT Exam City and Admit Card 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) has released an important update for candidates of PGT Recruitment 2022 (Advt No. 02/2022). Candidates who applied for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) 624 posts should now be ready, as the exam city details and admit card dates are officially announced. This recruitment is witnessing heavy competition, with more than 4.6 lakh candidates appearing in the written exam.

The UPESSC/ UPHESC UPSESSB UP Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) written exam city intimation slip will be released on 30 April 2026 and the admit card will be released on 6 May 2026.

UPESSC UP PGT Exam City Details 2026

UPSESSB will release the PGT Exam City information on 30 April 2026. Candidates can check their allotted exam district through the official website by logging into their account.

The examination will be conducted across 17 districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Aligarh, Prayagraj, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Banda, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Saharanpur, and Varanasi.

A total of 319 exam centres have been arranged for this recruitment. Candidates should check their exam city immediately after release so they can plan their travel properly. Last-minute planning usually leads to mistakes.

Exam Date and Timing

The PGT written examination will be held on 09 and 10 May 2026 in two shifts each day.

The exam will be conducted subject-wise in different shifts, so candidates must carefully check their subject and shift timing mentioned in the admit card.

Exam City/ Admit Card 2026 Download

The UPSESSB PGT Admit Card 2026 will be available from 06 May 2026 on the official website. No admit card will be sent by post, so candidates must download it online.

Steps to download the admit card/ Exam City Intimation Slip:

• Visit the official website https://www.upessc.up.gov.in/
• Click on the PGT Admit Card link or Exam City Intimation Slip Download Link
• Enter login credentials
• Download and print the admit card or Exam City Intimation Slip

The admit card will include important details such as exam centre address, subject, shift timing, reporting time, and candidate information.

Important Instructions

Candidates must remember that entry to the exam hall without an admit card will not be allowed under any condition. This is strict.

Carry these documents:

• Printed admit card
• Valid photo ID proof
• Passport-size photograph (if required)

Reach the exam centre before reporting time. If you arrive late, you will simply not be allowed inside.
