BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled: New Exam Date Soon, Check Notice

BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has taken a major decision regarding the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) Recruitment Examination 2026. The BPSC has cancelled the AEDO exam held from 14 to 21 April 2026. According to the official press release, incidents of malpractice attempts were detected at some examination centers during the exam. These attempts reportedly involved the use of Bluetooth devices and other unfair means, which were identified due to the alertness of the district administration.

The Commission confirmed that FIRs have been registered against the involved candidates and anti-social elements, and strict legal as well as administrative actions have been taken. In a significant move, 32 candidates have been debarred from appearing in future BPSC examinations on charges of attempting malpractice and disrupting the examination process.

At the same time, BPSC clarified that no evidence of question paper leak or viral circulation was found during the investigation. The Commission also stated that no question paper from any set or series was recovered outside the examination process.

However, due to reports circulating in various newspapers and social media platforms that raised concerns about the integrity of the examination, the Commission decided to take a strong and transparent step.

Keeping the interest of genuine and deserving candidates in mind, and to ensure fairness and transparency, BPSC has cancelled the entire AEDO written (objective) examination conducted under Advertisement No. 87/2025 from April 14, 2026, to April 21, 2026, covering all 9 shifts.

Additionally, the written (objective) examination for Assistant Public Sanitation and Waste Management Officer conducted on April 23, 2026, under Advertisement No. 108/2025 has also been cancelled.

The Commission emphasized its commitment to conducting examinations in a fair, transparent, and malpractice-free manner, ensuring that the interests of honest candidates are fully protected.
