Indian Navy SSC IT Officer Recruitment Notification 2026: The Indian Navy has released an official notification inviting online applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch (Information Technology) for the Jan 2027 course. Both unmarried men and women candidates can apply for this entry. The training will commence at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. Age Limit: The candidate should be born between 01 Jan 2002 and 01 Jul 2007 (both dates inclusive) to be eligible to apply for the Indian Navy SSC IT Officer Recruitment 2026 (Executive Branch) JAN 2027 Course.

Who Can Apply

• Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of graduation/ post-graduation with a minimum 60% marks
• Candidates with engineering degrees from recognized Indian or foreign institutions (with an equivalence certificate if required)

Indian Navy SSC IT Officer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection procedure for the Indian Navy SSC IT Officer Recruitment 2026 includes the following stages:

• Shortlisting based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree
• SSB Interview
• Medical Examination
• Final Merit List based on SSB marks

For BE/B. Tech candidates, marks up to the 5th semester are considered, while for postgraduate courses, marks of all or pre-final year are considered.

Training Details

• Selected candidates will join as Sub Lieutenant
• Training includes 6 weeks Naval Orientation Course at INA Ezhimala
• Followed by professional training at naval establishments
• Married candidates are not allowed during training
