Cabinet Secretariat SFO (Technical) Recruitment 2026 Through GATE: The Government of India, Cabinet Secretariat, has invited applications from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Senior Field Officer (Technical) through GATE Score in the Cabinet Secretariat. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. 01/2026. The post is a Group ‘A’ Gazetted post under Level-10 in the Pay Matrix. The Cabinet Secretariat SFO (Technical) Recruitment 2026 Through GATE, offline applications are invited from 13 June to 12 July 2026.

Candidates possessing the prescribed educational qualification along with the required valid GATE score can apply for the recruitment. The selection process includes shortlisting based on the GATE score, followed by an Interview.

Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for this recruitment is not exceeding 35 years of age. The eligibility criteria are applicable as on the closing date. The age relaxation will be given as per Central Government Orders.

Additional Requirement: Candidate must possess a valid GATE Score of 50% or above (GATE Score of 500 or above). A valid GATE Score means the candidate has qualified GATE in the year 2024, 2025, or 2026 with 50% or above.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be based on GATE Score and Interview, subject to fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria, Character & Antecedent verification, and medical examination.
