RVUNL Exam Pattern 2026: Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) has released the scheme of examination for the Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II posts in the State Power Companies of Rajasthan (RVUN, RVPN, JVVN, AVVN and JdVVN). The new exam pattern was issued on 06 November 2026 for Advt. No. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/02 (JE) and RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/03 (Junior Accountant & Junior Assistant), under which a total of 2005 vacancies were announced in August 2026.
Junior Engineer and Junior Accountant candidates will appear in a single 200-mark CBT of 120 minutes with two separately timed parts and 1/4 negative marking. For Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II, there will now be a 100-mark Pre-Exam (screening only, no negative marking), followed by a Main Exam and a Type Writing Test. As per the tentative schedule (notice dated 29 October 2026), the exams will be held from 29 November 2026 to 15 January 2027.

Note (JE & Junior Accountant): Part A and Part B are separately timed, and you cannot attempt Part B questions while attempting Part A or vice versa. Part B is “omnibus” with no sections, and all questions are bilingual except Hindi and English General. Each question has five options, and 1/4th of the marks of the question will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Note (Junior Assistant): The Pre-Exam is only for screening and shortlisting, and its marks will not be counted in the final merit. There is no negative marking in the Pre-Exam. The final merit will be prepared by giving 40% weightage to the Main Exam marks and 60% weightage to the Type Writing Test marks.
