Note: Territorial Army service (2 years) or NCC ‘B’ / ‘C’ certificate holders get preference. For Excise Inspector, the minimum height is 167.6 cm for male candidates (160 cm SC, 162.6 cm hill area) and 152 cm for female candidates (147 cm SC / hill area), the chest is 78.8–83.8 cm (male), and the minimum weight is 45 kg (female).
Uttarakhand 10th & 12th Requirement
As per the Uttarakhand Group ‘C’ Essential / Desirable Qualification Rules 2019, only those candidates are eligible who have passed their High School and Intermediate (or equivalent) from recognised institutions located in Uttarakhand. This condition is relaxed for some categories, such as personnel of military / paramilitary forces and regular employees of the State Government, so check the notification for details.
