Railway RRB Group D Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2025: The RRB Group D (Level-1) CEN 08/2024 CBT exam will be conducted from 27 Novemer to 16 January 2025 in various shifts. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) conduct the Level-1 (Group D) recruitment through a well-defined selection process that includes a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates must understand the complete exam pattern and syllabus to prepare effectively for the RRB Group D examination. Below is the detailed and official exam structure as per the notification.

The RRB has already released the Railway Group D Exam City Intimation Slip 2025 for the CBT exam.

Railway RRB Group D Selection Process

RRB Group D (Level-1) recruitment includes the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Document Verification (DV)
4. Medical Examination

Shortlisting for PET will be done Railway-wise in a ratio of three times the number of vacancies. Final selection after DV and Medical will be done in 1:1 ratio.

Railway RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2025

The CBT is the first stage of the selection process. It is an objective-type online test consisting of 100 questions.

• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Question Type: MCQ (objective)
• Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD with scribe)
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer
• Normalisation of marks will be applied if exam is held in multiple shifts

Number System, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes and Cistern.

General Intelligence & Reasoning Syllabus
