DSSSB DASS Grade-2 Exam Pattern 2026: The DSSSB recently released Advt 01/2026 Post Code 804/26 for the DASS Grade-2 recruitment of 606 Posts. The DSSSB Post Code 90/09 candidates are also eligible for this recruitment. The DSSSB DASS Grade-2 & Assistant Section Officer (ASO) examination will be conducted in Two Tiers. Tier-I is conducted for shortlisting candidates, while Tier-II consists of both Objective and Descriptive papers. Candidates should understand the complete exam pattern before starting their preparation.

Important Points
Candidates should keep the following points in mind while preparing for the DSSSB DASS Grade-2 examination:
- Tier-I examination is only qualifying in nature and used for shortlisting only. However, mandatory minimum qualifying marks criteria will be applicable in Tier-I Examination.
- Further, selection will be made based on cumulative marks obtained in Part-I & Part-II of Tier-II examination.
- The mandatory minimum qualifying marks criteria will be applicable on cumulative marks obtained in Part – I (MCQ) & Part – II (Descriptive) of Tier – II examination. There will not be any mandatory minimum qualifying marks criteria for Part – I (MCQ) and Part – II (Descriptive) separately.
- The examination will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the language papers, which will be in the language concerned only.
- Negative marking will be applicable:
- 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect 1-mark MCQ.
Tier-I Exam Overview
Tier-I consists of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question carries 1 mark, and there is negative marking for incorrect answers.
