AIIMS NORCET 9 Result 2025: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released Stage-I CBT Stage-I written exam result for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) – 9. This is a golden opportunity for eligible candidates aspiring to join as Nursing Officers at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix, a pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-, Group-B. This recruitment drive is for various Nursing Officer posts at AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS institutes across the country.
The application process is entirely online and was opened from July 22, 2025, to August 11, 2025, until 5:00 PM. The NORCET examination will be conducted in two stages: NORCET Preliminary on September 14, 2025 (Sunday), and NORCET Mains on September 27, 2025 (Saturday). The NORCET 9 Stage-I written exam result is declared on 18 September 2025.

AIIMS NORCET 9 Recruitment 2025 Age Limit and Qualification
Age Limit: For all AIIMS, the age limit is between 18-30 Years as on the last date of closing of the application form (August 11, 2025). Age Relaxation will be given as per rules.
Qualification: Candidates must possess one of the following essential qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) / State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University. OR
- B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC / State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University.
- And must be registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council. OR
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an INC / State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
- And must be registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
- Along with Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification

AIIMS NORCET 9 Recruitment 2025 Vacancies: There are a total of 3500 vacancies announced for the Nursing Officer Recruitment through the NORCET-9 Recruitment 2025. The AIIMS/ Institute-wise vacancies are given below in the image.
AIIMS NORCET 9 Recruitment 2025 Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The NORCET examination will be conducted in two successive stages:
1. Stage I: NORCET Preliminary (Qualifying Exam)
- Duration: 90 minutes.
- Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 100 marks.
- 20 MCQs related to General Knowledge & Aptitude.
- 80 MCQs related to the syllabus of Nursing courses taught at the essential qualification level.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
- Sections: Paper divided into 5 sections, each 18 minutes duration and containing 20 questions. Sections will be enabled sequentially, and access to a past section will be disabled once moved to the next.
- Qualifying Marks:
- UR/EWS: 50 percentiles
- OBC: 45 percentile
- SC & ST: 40 percentile
- PwBD: An additional 5 percentile relaxation (e.g., UR/EWS-PwBD- 45 percentile, OBC-PwBD-40 percentile, SC/ST-PwBD-35 percentile).
- Shortlisting for Stage II: Candidates qualifying Stage I, equal to 5 times the total seats in each category, will be called for Stage II. All qualified PwBD candidates and tie cases will also be called. NORCET Preliminary score will not be used for final merit/rank.
2. Stage II: NORCET Main
- Duration: 180 minutes.
- Questions: 160 MCQs for 160 marks, related to the Nursing syllabus, with a focus on case scenario-based questions to test nursing skills competency.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
- Sections: Paper divided into 4 sections, each 45 minutes duration and containing 40 questions. Sections will be enabled sequentially.
- Final Selection: All selections will be made in order of merit as per the NORCET Main Score in any AIIMS/Hospital.
3. Stage III: Document Verification & Medical Examination
