CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Exam City Intimation Slip on 8 July 2026 for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Examination. The online application forms were invited from 27 May 2026 to 19 June 2026. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 17 and 18 July 2026 for various science subjects, including Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Earth Sciences. The CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip has been released on 8 July 2026 for the written exam schedule to be held on 17 and 18 July 2026
As per the official information bulletin, the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., and admission to Ph.D. only. The application correction window will remain open from 22 June 2026 to 23 June 2026.

Age Limit and Qualification
The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is not more than 30 years as on the first day of the month in which the examination is concluded, i.e. July 2026. Relaxation up to 5 years is provided to candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, PwBD, Third Gender categories, women applicants, armed forces personnel, and candidates having research experience as per the official rules. There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D. categories.
