CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Answer Key on 16 August 2026 for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Examination. The online application forms were invited from 27 May 2026 to 19 June 2026. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 17 and 18 July 2026 for various science subjects, including Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Earth Sciences. The CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key has been released on 16 August 2026 for the written exam scheduled to be held on 17 and 18 July 2026

Age Limit and Qualification
The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is not more than 30 years as on the first day of the month in which the examination is concluded, i.e. July 2026. Relaxation up to 5 years is provided to candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, PwBD, Third Gender categories, women applicants, armed forces personnel, and candidates having research experience as per the official rules. There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D. categories.
General/EWS candidates must have at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognized universities/institutions. OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/PwBD/Third Gender candidates must have at least 50% marks. Candidates pursuing Master’s Degree or awaiting results are also eligible provisionally. Candidates with 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree Programme with minimum 75% marks are also eligible as per notification rules.
CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) examination.
