Age Limit (as on 17 August 2025):
- General: 18 to 27 years
- Relaxations:

- Departmental candidates: up to 40 years
- Widows/divorced/separated women: up to 35 (UR), 38 (OBC), 40 (SC/ST)
- Ex-servicemen and meritorious sportspersons: as per Govt. norms
IB Security Assistant (SA) Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board
- Domicile certificate of the State applied for
- Knowledge of local language/ dialect of the respective SIB
