JEE Main Result 2026 Session-2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main Result 2026 Session-2, on 20 April 2026 and now all candidates can check their JEE Mains Session-2 Result 2026. As per the official notice, the JEE Main Session-2 Result has been declared on 20 April 2026, which officially concludes the second session of the exam.
The examination was conducted successfully across multiple dates in April 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, with lakhs of candidates appearing from across India and abroad. NTA ensured smooth and transparent conduct of the examination despite some regional challenges.

Answer Key & Result Process
The Provisional Answer Key and Response Sheet were released on 11 April 2026, allowing candidates to review their responses and raise objections if required. Candidates were given the option to challenge the answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question within the given time frame.
After reviewing all objections, NTA has released the Final Answer Key, and the result has been prepared based on it. This process ensures fairness and transparency in evaluation.

How JEE Main Result 2026 is Prepared
The result for JEE Main 2026 will be calculated using the best score of both sessions (Session-1 and Session-2) for candidates who appeared in both. This means the highest percentile achieved across sessions will be considered for the final ranking.
The scorecard will include Percentile Score, All India Rank (AIR), Category Rank, and Qualifying Status, which are important for further admission processes.
Exam Highlights
The JEE Main 2026 Session-2 exam was conducted at around 566 centers in 304 cities across India and 14 cities abroad, with approximately 11.23 lakh candidates appearing. For Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), around 11.06 lakh candidates registered, while Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) saw around 54,953 registrations.
NTA handled challenges effectively, including rescheduling exams in certain international locations and managing disruptions like the Riyadh center power issue.

How to Check JEE Main Result 2026
Candidates will be able to check their results online by visiting the official website of NTA. To access the scorecard, candidates need to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth or Password. After downloading the result, it is advisable to keep a printed copy for future admission processes.

After the result declaration, candidates who meet the cutoff will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026. Additionally, admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will be conducted through the JoSAA Counselling process, where seat allotment will be based on rank and preferences.
