JNVST 2027 Notification: NVS Class 6 Admission For Session 2027-28, Application Form Start

JNVST 2027 Notification NVS Class 6 Admission: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2027 Notification for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) for the academic session 2027-28. The JNVST 2027 Notification for NVS Class 6 Admission has been released on 7 July 2026, and the application form/ registration are open from 7 July to 31 July 2026.

Eligible students studying in Class V during the academic session 2026-27 can submit their online application before 31 July 2026, while the entrance examination will be conducted on 28 November 2026. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are fully residential, co-educational schools that provide free education, boarding, lodging, textbooks, and other facilities to selected students. Admission is offered through the JNV Selection Test conducted across the country.

JNVST 2027 Age Limit

Candidates must be born between 01 May 2015 and 31 July 2017 (both dates inclusive). This age limit is applicable to all categories including SC, ST, OBC and Divyang candidates.

JNVST 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Reservation Details

• At least 75% seats are reserved for candidates from rural areas.
• Reservation for SC, ST and OBC candidates will be provided as per Government of India norms.
• Minimum one-third seats are reserved for girls.
• Reservation is also available for eligible Divyang candidates.
