Punjab PSSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment 2026: Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 11/2026 for the recruitment of Line Superintendent posts under the Punjab Government Power Department (Energy Branch). The Punjab PSSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment 2026 Notification has been released on 8 May 2026, and the online applications are invited from 15 May to 19 June 2026. The PSSSB Line Superintendent written exam will be held on 19 July 2026.

Candidates who applied earlier under Advertisement No. 08/2023 are exempted from the payment of the fee for this recruitment.

Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for the Punjab PSSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment 2026 is 18-37 Years. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.01.2026 (Use Age Calculator). The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

Candidates must also have passed Punjabi at the Matric level or equivalent as required under the Punjab Civil Services Rules.

Punjab PSSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process will include a written examination consisting of two parts.

Part A

• Punjabi Language Paper
• Matriculation Level
• Qualifying Nature
• Minimum 50% Marks Required

Part B

• Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Merit will be prepared on the basis of Part-B marks only
• Negative Marking Applicable
• 1 mark for each correct answer
• 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Instructions for Candidates Who Applied for Advertisement No. 08/2023

The notification clearly mentions that earlier Line Superintendent vacancies advertised under Advertisement No. 08/2023 were withdrawn. Therefore, candidates who had applied earlier must apply again for this recruitment. However:

• They will not have to pay the application fee again.
• Their age cutoff date will be considered as 01 January 2023.
