Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates possessing the required sports qualifications. The recruitment is being conducted under Employment Notice No. 01/SPQ/2026-27. The Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Notification has been released on 15 June 2026, and the offline applications are invited from 15 June to 14 July 2026.
The opening date and time for submission of applications is 15.06.2026 at 09:00 hrs and the closing date and time is 14.07.2026 at 17:00 hrs. A total of 23 players are proposed to be recruited in various sports disciplines.

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for this recruitment is 18-25 years as on 01.07.2026. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.07.2026 (Use Age Calculator). No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible for recruitment through Open Advertisement.

Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
All eligible candidates will be called for trial, and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more out of 40 marks of Game Skill, Physical Fitness, and Coach’s Observation during Trial) shall be assessed for the next stage of recruitment.

- Assessment of recognized sports achievements as per norms (50 Marks)
- Game skill, physical fitness, and the coach’s observation during trials (40 Marks)
- Educational Qualification (10 Marks)
How to Apply For Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Sports Quota Recruitment 2026
Applications are to be submitted in the prescribed format through offline mode only.
- Download the application format from Annexure-A in Notificaiton PDF given below.
- Fill the application in your own handwriting and sign it.
- Affix a passport-size photograph with a clear face and attach a duly attested photograph.
- Attach attested photocopies of educational and sports achievement certificates.
- Ensure fulfillment of all eligibility conditions before applying.
- Applications can be sent by any post.
- Superscribe on the envelope: “RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2026-2027 IN LEVEL-01, LEVEL-02, and LEVEL-4/5.”
- Applications received after the closing date and time will not be entertained.
