What is a City Intimation Slip?

The City Intimation Slip is an advance notice provided by RRB to inform candidates about their exam city and exam date. It is not the admit card, but it plays an important role in helping candidates prepare for travel and logistics.

Candidates should understand that entry to the exam center will NOT be allowed with this slip. It is only for information purposes. The actual entry document will be the admit card, which will be released separately.

Aadhaar Verification Important Notice

RRBs have made it clear that Aadhaar-based biometric authentication will be conducted at the exam center. Candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or a valid e-Aadhaar printout.

It is also advised that candidates ensure their Aadhaar is unlocked in the UIDAI system before the exam day. If Aadhaar is locked or not updated properly, it may create problems during entry and verification at the exam center.

How to Check RRB NTPC City Intimation Slip 2026

First, visit the official RRB website or the application portal. Then log in using your registration number and password. After login, click on the link for “Exam City & Date Intimation”. Your exam city, date, and shift details will be displayed on the screen. Download and save it for reference.
