SSC CGL 2025 Final Result 2026: The Staff Selection Commission has officially released an important update for candidates of SSC CGL 2025. The Commission has declared the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) based on the performance of candidates in Tier-II examination. This is a major step toward final selection, and candidates who appeared in Tier-II should carefully check all details. The SSC CGL 2025 Final Result has been declared on 8 March 2026.
As per the official notice dated 08 April 2026, the Tier-I result was declared earlier on 18 December 2025, and Tier-II exam was conducted on 18 and 19 January 2026. Now, based on Tier-II performance, SSC has proceeded with the first allocation of posts.

SSC CGL 2025 Final Result 2026 Overview
The FRTA has been prepared using a newly introduced sliding mechanism, which helps in better allocation of posts and reduces vacancy wastage. Only those candidates who qualified Tier-II and submitted their post preferences were considered for allocation.
A total of 15,118 vacancies have been filled in this first round of allocation after minor revisions in some posts.
Important Dates
The Commission has also released the schedule for the sliding process. Candidates must participate to confirm or upgrade their allocation.
- FRTA Result Date: 08 April 2026
- Option for Sliding Process: 08 to 10 April 2026
- Sliding Process Dates (North Region): 13 to 22 April 2026
- Sliding Process Dates (Other Regions): 13 to 18 April 2026
Cut Off Marks (Tier-II Shortlisting)
Based on the official notice (Page 1), candidates were shortlisted for further evaluation using Section-I and Section-II marks of Tier-II Paper-I.
- UR: 54 (Section-I), 63 (Section-II)
- OBC/EWS: 45, 52.5
- SC/ST: 36, 42
Only candidates clearing these cut-offs were considered for further stages like CKT and DEST.
Qualifying Criteria
The Commission has clearly defined the minimum qualifying marks:
- UR: 30%
- OBC/EWS: 25%
- Others: 20%
Additionally, in DEST (Data Entry Speed Test), candidates must stay within the allowed error percentage.

CKT & DEST Cut Off
For posts requiring Computer Proficiency or Data Entry Test:
- CKT Cut Off (Out of 60):
UR: 24, OBC/EWS: 21, SC/ST: 18 - DEST Error Limit:
UR: 5%, OBC/EWS: 7%, Others: 10%
These tests are qualifying in nature but mandatory.
Post Allocation Criteria
The allocation has been done strictly based on:
Merit + Post Preference submitted by candidates
For most posts, allocation is based on Tier-II Paper-I performance, while for JSO and Statistical Investigator posts, Paper-II is also included.
Total Vacancies & Selection
As per the notice (Page 4):
- Total Vacancies: 15,118
- Total Candidates Recommended: 15,118
Category-wise distribution includes UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS along with horizontal categories like ESM, OH, HH, VH, and PwD.
