Earlier, the Indian Postal Department had released the 1st Merit List on 6 March 2026 and the second merit list on 10 April 2026. This recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 28,636 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), including BPM and ABPM posts. The selection process is completely based on 10th-class marks, and no written examination is conducted.
