UPSC Prelims Result 2026 Out: Civil Services (CSE) Prelims Result Released, Check Roll Number PDF

UPSC Prelims Result 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims Result 2026 on 15 June 2026. Candidates who appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination held on 24 May 2026 can now check their qualifying status through the result PDF available on the official UPSC website. The result contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage, i.e., the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2026. The recruitment process is being conducted for 933 vacancies.

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF have qualified for the UPSC CSE Mains Examination 2026. UPSC releases the prelims result in PDF format and does not publish marks at this stage. The marks, answer keys, and cut-off marks will be released later by the Commission.

UPSC CSE 2026 Vacancy Details

Age Limit: The age limit for the UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2026 is 21-32 Years. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.08.2026. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

How to Check UPSC Prelims Result 2026

1. Visit the official UPSC website.
2. Open the “Results” section.
3. Click on the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 Result link.
4. Download the result PDF.
5. Press Ctrl + F and enter your Roll Number.
6. If your roll number appears in the PDF, you have qualified for the Main Examination.

What After UPSC Prelims Result 2026?

Candidates who have qualified in the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear in the Civil Services Main Examination 2026, which is scheduled to be conducted on 21 August 2026. The Main Examination will be followed by the Personality Test/Interview stage for candidates qualifying in the written mains examination.
