The Haryana government has informed the High Court that the CET registration portal for Group C recruitment will not be reopened under any circumstances. This update came during a hearing on petitions requesting another chance to register or correct details for the CET exam. Advocate General Praveen Chauhan clearly stated in court that the portal was kept open long enough and many chances were already given earlier. Therefore, reopening it again is not possible.
Several candidates had approached the High Court asking for the portal to be reopened because they were unable to complete registration earlier due to missing caste certificates or EWS/BC documents. But the Advocate General said that even if the documents were missing at the time, enough opportunities had been given, and the registration process cannot continue forever.

However, the government has agreed to one possible relief — reserved category candidates may be allowed to correct their details (like caste or EWS certificate information) after the CET exam is held. This means only those who had registered earlier will be allowed to appear in the CET exam.
The High Court did not pass any immediate order on the petitions and has scheduled the next hearing for September 5, 2025. Till then, the government’s decision will stay in place.
Meanwhile, the CET Group C exam is likely to be held by the end of July 2025. If this schedule is followed, the correction window for reserved category candidates may open sometime in August.
On the other hand, candidates who appeared for the Group D exam (held for 7,596 posts) are still waiting for their result. Even after 8 months, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has not declared the result. Many candidates have now started protesting and demanding early declaration.
In short, the High Court has made it clear that new registrations will not be allowed for CET Group C, but candidates from reserved categories may get a chance to correct their details after the exam.
