Jaipur, July 7, 2025 – The Office of the Director-General of Police, Rajasthan, Jaipur, has released new standards and a marking scheme for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the upcoming direct recruitment of Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector (SI)/Platoon Commander Recruitment 2025. The official notification, Standing Order No. 10/2025, was issued on July 7, 2025, regarding the change in the Rajathan Police SI Physical Test Rules and Marks.
This order has been issued exercising the powers conferred by the Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1989, and the Rajasthan Police Act, 2007. The Physical Efficiency Test will be for a total of 100 marks, and candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for selection.
The detailed criteria for male, female, and ex-servicemen candidates are as follows:
Criteria for Male Candidates
1. 100 Meter Race:
- 14 seconds – 40 Marks
- 15 seconds – 25 Marks
- 16 seconds – 15 Marks
- Beyond 16 seconds – Zero Marks
2. Long Jump:
- 15 feet and above – 30 Marks
- 14 feet – 20 Marks
- 13 feet – 10 Marks
- Below 13 feet – Zero Marks
3. Chinning Up:
- 7 Heaves – 30 Marks
- 6 Heaves – 20 Marks
- 5 Heaves – 10 Marks
- Below 5 Heaves – Zero Marks
Criteria for Female Candidates
1. 100 Meter Race:
- 17 seconds – 40 Marks
- 18 seconds – 25 Marks
- 19 seconds – 15 Marks
- Beyond 19 seconds – Zero Marks
2. Long Jump:
- 10 feet and above – 30 Marks
- 09 feet – 20 Marks
- 08 feet – 10 Marks
- Below 08 feet – Zero Marks
3. Putting in Shot (4 Kg. weight):
- 16 feet – 30 Marks
- 15 feet – 20 Marks
- 14 feet – 10 Marks
- Below 14 feet – Zero Marks
Criteria for Ex-Servicemen Candidates
1. 100 Meter Race:
- 17 seconds – 40 Marks
- 18 seconds – 25 Marks
- 19 seconds – 15 Marks
- Beyond 19 seconds – Zero Marks
2. Long Jump:
- 13 feet and above – 30 Marks
- 12 feet – 20 Marks
- 11 feet – 10 Marks
- Below 11 feet – Zero Marks
3. Chinning Up:
- 5 Heaves – 30 Marks
- 4 Heaves – 20 Marks
- 3 Heaves – 10 Marks
- Below 3 Heaves – Zero Marks
The order, issued by the Director-General of Police, Rajasthan, Jaipur, states that compliance with these standards must be ensured in all upcoming direct recruitment examinations for the post of Sub-Inspector/ Platoon Commander. With the release of the new Physical Test Rules for the Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector, the chances of the Rajasthan Police SI Notification 2025 have increased.
