CBSE 10th Class Second Board Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 Second Board Examination Result 2026 on 18 July 2026. Students who appeared in the second board examination can now check their results through the DigiLocker Results Portal.

The Second Board Examination was introduced from the academic session 2026 under the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It provides students with an additional opportunity to improve their marks after the Main Board Examination. For regular students, CBSE considers the better performance of the two examinations while preparing the final result.

Important Highlights

• CBSE introduced two board examinations for Class 10 from 2026 in accordance with NEP 2020.
• The Main Board Examination was conducted from 17 February to 11 March 2026.
• The Second Board Examination was held from 15 May to 21 May 2026.
• Regular students receive the benefit of the higher score between the Main and Second Board examinations.
• Around 60% of students appearing for improvement succeeded in increasing their scores.
• The compartment pass percentage improved to 52.40%, compared to 48.68% in 2025.

Students can check their results by following these steps:

1. Visit the DigiLocker Results Portal.
2. Select CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026.
3. Enter the required credentials.
4. Submit the details.
5. Download and save the digital marksheet for future reference.

Marksheet and Certificates

CBSE has informed that:

• Regular students will receive their printed Mark Sheet-cum-Passing Certificate through their respective schools.
• Students studying in CBSE-affiliated schools abroad can also access their digital academic documents through DigiLocker.
• Private candidates will receive digital documents through DigiLocker, while printed documents will be sent to their registered addresses. Candidates under the Delhi East and Delhi West Regional Offices can collect printed documents from their examination centres.
