As per the official gazette dated 17 April 2026, the government has modified the existing Haryana Health Department Pharmacists (Group C) Service Rules, 1998.

Important Update on Recruitment Process
As per the amended rules, recruitment for Pharmacy Officer will now be done as follows:

Important Eligibility Relaxation
A very important point mentioned in the notification:
Candidates who have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy or were already admitted before 17 December 2021 will also remain eligible for Pharmacy Officer posts.
This is a major relief for diploma holders.
