IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 01/2027: The Indian Air Force has officially released the recruitment notice for Agniveervayu Non-Combatant, Intake 01/2027, under the Agnipath Scheme, for the Hospitality and Housekeeping streams. The notification was published in the Employment News edition dated 25–31 July 2026. This is an offline recruitment — there’s no online application start date, since forms are already available for download and must be filled and posted by hand. This isn’t a technical or airman-cadre entry — it’s a support-staff role where selected candidates handle cooking, kitchen management, cleaning, gardening, and similar upkeep duties across IAF stations. Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification

Age Limit: The age limit for IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 2026 is candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive). If a candidate clears all stages of selection, the upper age limit as on the date of enrolment should be 22 Years. (Use Age Calculator). Age Relaxation will be given as per the rules.

Other Key Eligibility Conditions:

• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible; selected candidates must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period.
• Minimum height: 152 cm; minimum chest expansion: 5 cm.
• Vision: 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye; refractive error not exceeding ±3.5 D including astigmatism.
• Minimum 14 dental points; candidates with dental implants or fixed/removable orthodontic appliances will be declared unfit.
• Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, except on the inner forearm, back of hand, or as per tribal custom.
• Only Sikh candidates may retain unshorn hair, beard, and moustache as per religious practice.

Job Profile / Streams

Candidates apply for one of the following two streams:

• Hospitality Stream – Cooking, kitchen management, food presentation, safe storage of items, handling crockery/cutlery, laying tables, and serving food and water.
• Housekeeping Stream – Cleaning floors, rooms, bathrooms; grass-cutting, gardening; washing utensils/clothes; and related tasks such as hair-cutting, ironing, or leather-item repair.

Pay, Allowances and Terminal Benefits

• Agniveer Package: Starts at Rs. 30,000/- per month in Year 1, rising to Rs. 33,000/-, Rs. 36,500/-, and Rs. 40,000/- by Year 4, plus Risk & Hardship, Dress, and Travel allowances, along with ration, clothing, accommodation, and LTC as per rules.
• Seva Nidhi Package: A one-time terminal benefit of approximately Rs. 10.04 Lakhs on completion of four years (30% of monthly pay contributed by the candidate, matched by the Government).
• Insurance: Non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs during the engagement period.
• No entitlement to gratuity, pension, or Ex-Servicemen status after the four-year term; up to 25% of each batch may be offered permanent enrolment as NC(E) based on performance.

IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process for IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 2026 includes the following stages:

Written Test Pattern: General English (15 marks) and General Knowledge (15 marks), 30 marks total. Minimum 5 marks required in each subject, and an overall minimum of 15 marks (50%) to qualify.

PFT Standards: PFT-I is a 1.6 km run to be completed within 7 minutes (with extra time allowed at high-altitude locations). PFT-II requires 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats, each within 1 minute, with rest breaks in between.
