The application fees for the PSSSB PTI Recruitment are as follows:

Punjab PTI Teacher Recruitment 2025 Age Limit, Vacancy Details and Qualification

Age Limit: As of January 1, 2025, candidates must be between 18 and 37 years old. Age Relaxation will be given as per the rules.

Vacancy Details: A total of 2000 PTI vacancies are available, with category-wise distribution as follows:

Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 and possess at least a two-year diploma or certificate in Physical Education, such as D.P.Ed/C.P.Ed, or any other course with a similar name.

• Final year students of D.P.Ed./C.P.Ed. can also apply, but they must have passed their diploma by the date of the final recruitment examination. All other educational and professional qualification certificates must be issued on or before the last date of application.

Punjab PTI Teacher Recruitment 2025 Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection for these PTI posts will be based on a combination of tests and scores:

1. Written Test: A 70-mark objective multiple-choice departmental written test will be conducted at the state level.
2. Physical Eligibility Test: This is a qualifying test with five components. Candidates must successfully complete at least three out of the five components to qualify. Divyang candidates are exempt from the physical test.
3. Sports Achievements: Up to 30 marks will be awarded for sports achievements based on gradation certificates issued by the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Punjab.
4. Punjabi Language Qualifying Paper: Candidates must pass a Punjabi Language paper of Matriculation standard with at least 50% marks. This paper is mandatory and qualifying only; its marks will not be added to the final merit list.

Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared out of 100 marks, combining the written test score (70 marks) and sports achievement score (30 marks).

• If multiple candidates have the same merit score in the written paper, the older candidate will be ranked higher. If both scores and age are the same, the candidate with a higher percentage in professional qualifications will be preferred.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 29200/- per month (without any allowances). There will be a probation period of 3 years.
