No. 78/UKSSSC/2026) for the direct recruitment of Group ‘C’ vacancies, including the Junior Assistant, Stenographer, and Personal Assistant under the subordinate courts (Civil Courts and Family Courts) of the Honorable High Court, Nainital, Uttarakhand. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 398 vacant positions, which include 259 posts for Junior Assistant and 139 posts for Stenographer Grade-1/ Personal Assistant. Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for this recruitment is 21 to 35 years. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is January 01, 2026. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

Selection Process

The selection process for the advertised positions involves the following components as per the criteria specified by the commission:

• Written Competitive Examination: An objective type multiple-choice test of 140 marks with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, consisting of questions related to General Knowledge and General Studies.
• Typing / Shorthand Test: A practical skill-based test carrying 60 marks to assess prescribed typing and stenography speeds.
