UPESSC UP PGT Result 2026 Declared for Male and Female Candidates, 2253 Candidates Shortlisted for Interview

UPESSC UP PGT Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has officially declared the UP PGT Result 2026 on 2 June 2026 for both Male and Female categories. The written examination for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) recruitment under Advertisement No. 02/2022 was conducted on 09 and 10 May 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their result and shortlist status through the official result PDF released by the commission. According to the official press release, a total of 2,25,3 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the interview stage across 18 subjects.

The commission has announced the written examination result for 18 subjects conducted under PGT Recruitment Advertisement No. 02/2022. The result has been released in roll number format and includes candidates shortlisted category-wise for the interview process. The commission has informed that detailed subject-wise and category-wise interview schedules along with necessary instructions will be published on the official website on 03 June 2026. Successful candidates will also receive interview information through SMS and email on their registered mobile number and email ID.

Female Category Result Summary

UPESSC has released the Female Category shortlist for subjects including Civics, Physics, Biology, Geography, English, Sociology, Economics, History, Hindi, Education, Psychology, Sanskrit, Art and Home Science. A large number of candidates from UR, OBC, EWS and SC categories have been shortlisted for interviews subject-wise. The highest number of shortlisted female candidates can be seen in Sanskrit, English, History and Home Science subjects.

Male Category Result Summary

For Male Category candidates, the commission has released shortlisted roll numbers for subjects including Civics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, Mathematics, English, Sociology, Economics, History, Hindi, Agriculture, Education, Psychology, Sanskrit, Art and Commerce. Thousands of candidates have been shortlisted across different reservation categories for the next stage of recruitment.

What Happens After the Result?

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF have been provisionally shortlisted for the interview stage. The final selection will be made after completion of the interview process and verification of eligibility conditions, educational qualifications and other required documents. Interview schedules and instructions will be released separately by the commission.

How to Check UP PGT Result 2026

Candidates can check their result by downloading the Male or Female category result PDF released by UPESSC. After opening the PDF, candidates should search their roll number using the search option and verify whether their roll number is included in the shortlisted candidates list. If the roll number is present, the candidate has been shortlisted for the interview stage.
