PTET 2026 Notification and Online Form: If you are planning to become a teacher in Rajasthan, then this is a very important update for you. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, has officially released the PTET 2026 notification for admission into the 2-year B.Ed course for the session 2026-27. The application process has already been announced, and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website.

This entrance exam is mandatory for admission into B.Ed colleges across Rajasthan, and lakhs of candidates apply every year. Before applying, candidates must carefully check eligibility, exam pattern, and important dates.

The application fee is non-refundable, so candidates should ensure their eligibility before applying.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in Science, Social Science, or Humanities. For candidates with an Engineering/Technology background, a minimum 55% marks is required.

For reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and others, there is a 5% relaxation, meaning they can apply with 45% marks. Final year students are also eligible to apply, but their results must be declared before counselling.

PTET 2026 Exam Pattern

The PTET exam will be conducted in offline mode and will consist of a single paper. According to the official notification, the paper will have 200 multiple-choice questions divided into four sections.

Each question carries 3 marks, and the total paper is of 600 marks. The exam duration will be 3 hours.

Candidates must upload their photo, signature, and thumb impression and complete payment through online modes like debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

After submission, candidates should download and print the application form for future use, especially during counselling.
