Bihar B.Ed CET 2026: Bihar B.Ed Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed 2026) notification has been officially released for admission into the 2-Year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri programmes across all universities of Bihar. This entrance exam is conducted by B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, which is the state nodal university for this exam. The Bihar B.Ed CET 2026 Notification has been released on 27 April 2026, and the online applications are invited from 27 April to 18 May 2026. Candidates who want to pursue a teaching career in Bihar must appear in this entrance test because admission will be given only through CET-B.Ed 2026. The application process has started in online mode, and candidates should complete their form before the last date to avoid late fees.

Application Fees

The application fee must be paid online using a debit card, a credit card, net banking, or UPI. Once paid, the fee will not be refunded under any condition.

Eligibility Criteria

For the B.Ed programme, candidates must have completed graduation or post-graduation with at least 50% marks. Candidates with an engineering or technology degree must have at least 55% marks.

For the Shiksha Shastri programme, candidates must have a graduation with Sanskrit as a main subject or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks.

Candidates are advised to check their eligibility carefully before applying because incorrect eligibility can lead to rejection during counselling.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted for 2 hours and will include 120 multiple choice questions. Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking, which means candidates should attempt as many questions.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

There is no negative marking, so scoring above the cutoff is achievable with proper preparation.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the entrance exam score. After the result, candidates will be called for counselling, where document verification will be done. Final admission will be given only after successful verification of all documents and eligibility criteria.
