RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Central Railway, Prayagraj has released the Zonal Notification No. RRC/NCR/Act. Apprentice 01/2026 dated 07.07.2026 for the engagement of ACT Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Online applications are invited for 1853 apprenticeship slots in various Divisions, Workshops, and Headquarters of North Central Railway for the year 2026-27. The RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification is released on 7 July 2026, and online applications are invited from 8 July to 7 August 2026.

The online application process will begin on 08 July 2026 at 00:00 hrs and will remain open until 07 August 2026 at 23:59 hrs. Interested applicants should read the notification carefully before submitting the online application.

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for this recruitment is 15 years to 24 years as on 07.07.2026 (Use Age Calculator). The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection of applicants will be made as mentioned in the notification.

• Merit list prepared by taking the average percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.
• Shortlisted applicants will be called for document/certificate verification.
• In case of equal marks, the older applicant will be preferred.
• If the date of birth is also the same, the applicant who passed the Matriculation examination earlier will be considered first.
• There will be no written test or viva.
• Final selection will be subject to verification of original testimonials/certificates and Medical Fitness Certificate.
