IIM CAT 2026 Notification: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have officially released the advertisement notice for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026. This national-level entrance exam is conducted for admission into various Post Graduate Programmes in Management (PGP/MBA) and Doctoral Programmes (PhD/FPM) across all 21 participating IIMs and other registered non-IIM institutions. The IIM CAT 2026 Notification has been released on July 26, 2026. Candidates can submit their online registration form from August 3, 2026 (10:00 AM onwards) until September 15, 2026 (till 5:00 PM).

The Common Admission Test (CAT 2026) is a computer-based examination scheduled to be held in three sessions on Sunday, November 29, 2026, across approximately 170 test cities nationwide. Interested candidates holding a recognized Bachelor’s degree or those currently appearing in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply. Ensure you thoroughly verify all academic and category certificate requirements prior to beginning your registration process.

Age Limit: The age limit for IIM CAT 2026 is No Age Limit. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is Not Applicable. (Use Age Calculator). Age Relaxation will be given as per the rules.

• Computer Based Test (CBT Exam)
• Shortlisting for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) / Written Ability Test (WAT)

Follow these steps to apply for IIM CAT 2026:

• Visit the official portal at iimcat.ac.in.
• Register as a new user by generating your user ID and password using a valid email and mobile number.
• Log in and fill in all required personal, academic, and work experience details in the application form.
• Select 5 preferred test cities from the drop-down menu.
• Upload required documents including your photograph, signature, and SC/ ST/ NC-OBC/ EWS/ PwBD certificates (if applicable).
• Pay the registration fee online according to your category.
• Submit the application form and print a copy for future reference.
