HSSC CET Correction Portal 2025 Open for Category Change: Haryana CET Candidates Important Update

HSSC CET Correction Portal 2025: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) recently conducted the CET (Common Eligibility Test) for Group C posts on 26 and 27 July 2025. Before the declaration of the HSSC CET Result 2025, the commission is giving a chance to the candidates to modify their application form, especially the category (like General, EWS, SC, BC, etc.). The HSSC CET Group C Advt No. 01/2025 applications were invited from May 28 to June 14, 2025. 

The HSSC has opened the HSSC CET Category Correction Portal on 17 October 2025. The candidates can correct key details, most crucially, their category (such as General, OBC, EWS, SC, etc.) before the recruitment process continues.

What is the HSSC CET Correction Portal?

The HSSC CET Correction Portal is an online facility provided by HSSC that allows registered candidates of the CET Group-C Advt 01/2025 applicants to rectify errors or update certain details in their application forms. For the current recruitment year, the focus is on the “category” field, which directly impacts reservation benefits, eligibility, and cut-off marks for Group C posts.

Who Can Use the Correction Portal?

Only candidates who successfully registered and submitted the HSSC CET Group C application form within the deadline (May 28 – June 14, 2025) are eligible to edit their details in the HSSC CET Correction Portal.

The portal is designed for those who made mistakes or wish to update their category (e.g., from General to OBC, OBC to EWS, etc.) due to documentation changes or initial application errors.

Which Details Can Be Updated in HSSC CET Correction Portal?

The candidates can update the following details in the HSSC CET Group-C Correction Portal for Advt. 01/2025.

• Category/ Reservation Status:
  • General
  • OBC (Other Backward Classes)
  • EWS (Economically Weaker Sections)
  • SC (Scheduled Castes)
  • Other reserved categories as per Haryana Government norms
• In most cases, only the reservation category change will be permitted. Core personal details (name, DOB) remain uneditable.
