BSF HCM Exam Date 2026: The Border Security Force (BSF) has officially released a major update for candidates who qualified in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the Head Constable (Ministerial) and Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) recruitment. As per the latest notice issued on 5 June 2026, the Written Examination (Computer Based Test) will commence from 1 September 2026 onwards.

Candidates who successfully cleared the first stage of recruitment can now begin their preparation for the next phase. BSF has clarified that the exact examination dates, city details, and admit card information will be released later through the official recruitment portal.

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for BSF HCM & ASI Steno Recruitment 2024 is 18-25 Years. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.08.2024. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

BSF HCM Written Exam Date 2026

According to the official notice issued by BSF Headquarters on 5 June 2026, the Computer Based Written Examination for candidates who qualified in the PST/PET stage is tentatively scheduled to start from 1 September 2026 onwards. The examination will be conducted for various Non-GD posts including Head Constable (Ministerial) and Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) in CAPFs and Assam Rifles.

BSF has further stated that the exact examination schedule will be published separately on the official BSF recruitment website in due course. Candidates are advised to regularly check the recruitment portal for the latest updates.

Selection Process

The recruitment process includes the following stages:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

4. Skill Test / Typing Test / Stenography Test
5. Document Verification
6. Medical Examination

Candidates who clear the written examination will be shortlisted for the skill test and subsequent stages of recruitment.

BSF HCM Admit Card 2026

The admit card for the Computer Based Test is expected to be released a few weeks before the examination. Candidates will be able to download their hall ticket by logging into the BSF recruitment portal using their registration credentials. BSF has not yet announced the exact admit card release date.
